Omega
Geneve
Integrated bracelet / 1974

Intro

This Omega Genève Automatic "TV" from 1974 features an integrated bracelet that fits a wrist up to around 19cm, paired with a beautiful matte black dial set in the distinctive television-shaped case that defines 1970s Omega design. It's powered by the Caliber 1012 automatic movement, known for its reliability and convenient quickset date function, which allows rapid adjustment via the crown.

Story

The Genève line launched in the 1950s. Unlike the Seamaster or Speedmaster, which were designed as tool watches, the Genève was the line where Omega could experiment freely with cases, dials, and forms it wouldn't risk elsewhere. From early clean classics to bold 1970s shapes, it carried Omega's spirit of invention, paired with solid in-house calibres.

This particular model adopts an integrated case-and-bracelet design, unmistakably inspired by the work of Gérald Genta.
