Omega
Constellation C-Line
Chronometer / 1973

Intro

This Omega Constellation Chronometer C-Line from 1973 features a finely executed vertical brushed dial. It is powered by the Caliber 1011 automatic movement, known for its reliability and convenient quick-set function, which allows the date to be adjusted by turning the crown.

A beautifully balanced piece, it appeals to watch enthusiasts for both its refined design and its place within Omega’s long-standing tradition of precision watchmaking.

Story

Designed by Gerald Genta (YES! That's Gerald Genta of the AP Royal Oak fame), the C-Line Constellation was initially released in December 1964. What the C-Shape brings is an understated elegance almost forgotten in time. By modern standards, it is a dress watch, or at least it is certainly dressier than anything in the current Omega range except perhaps the Omega Constellation Manhattan (Which in my opinion is not the most attractive design).
