Omega
Constellation
Day Date / 1969

Intro

This Omega Constellation Day-Date Chronometer C-Line from 1968 features a stunning original cross-hatch linen dial. It is powered by the Caliber 751 automatic movement, known for its reliability and convenient quick-set functions: the date can be rapidly adjusted via the crown.

A beautifully balanced piece, it appeals to watch enthusiasts for both its refined design and its place within Omega’s long-standing tradition of precision watchmaking.

Story

Designed by Gerald Genta (YES! That's Gerald Genta of the AP Royal Oak fame), the C-Line Constellation was initially released in December 1964. What the C-Shape brings is an understated elegance almost forgotten in time. By modern standards, it is a dress watch, or at least it is certainly dressier than anything in the current Omega range except perhaps the Omega Constellation Manhattan (Which in my opinion is not the most attractive design).
