Omega
Geneve
Automatic / 1972

Intro

This Omega Genève manual-winding watch from 1972 features a vertically brushed dial. It’s powered by the Caliber 613 movement, known for its reliability and semi-quickset date function.

Story

The Genève line launched in the 1950s. Unlike the Seamaster or Speedmaster, which were designed as tool watches, the Genève was the line where Omega could experiment freely with cases, dials, and forms it wouldn't risk elsewhere. From early clean classics to bold 1970s shapes, it carried Omega's spirit of invention, paired with solid in-house calibres.
